Evidently, if my baby pictures are any indication, I've always had a penchant for style, although there were some awkward in "be-TWEEN" years, when the waistband of my pants reached Urkel proportions (isn't that sort of "in" now?). Eventually, I floated (or more like trudged deliberately) toward the elegance found in my mother's DNA. She was a cool, calm and collected hottie, full of model-esque qualities that I dare hope trickled down to me.
Here, I was excited to merge my fave colors, pink and green, but with a more sophisticated slight of hand, using shades of peach, emerald and hunter green along with fall shades of caramel against a jovial tweed pattern in a high-waist pant. I love mixing costs and fabrics. Some of the items I'm rocking were free and some on sale. Budget-friendly gear is not only low-spend, it's on trend.
On this particular happy Sunday, I enjoyed reflecting with my husband and, of course, worshiping together. A relationship with God is the glue and joy of our marriage.
